It is not OK to fumble. That is not acceptable in this program. It is never going to be OK when you screw up. You have to have a certain amount of accountability and responsibility in the way you take the field and the way you play. I think that is something Chris has learned. I think he will be a more accountable player.

There was no attempt to determine who was accountable on the 9/11 Commission. This time, there's got to be accountability. If you're an elected official, you should be inviting accountability for yourself.

Isn't that what it is all about, accountability? Those who break our immigration laws should be held accountable. Those who hire illegal aliens should be held accountable. And those who turn the other way and claim there is no problem should be held accountable.

Chris made a tremendous jump. He worked tremendously hard in the off-season from last March until now to get himself ready for this opportunity. He's done a great job. I'm as proud of him as any player I've had. He learned how to score and how to really play the game.

Neither the current quality assurance program nor the research systems have served any type of diagnostic function whatsoever. The accountability system is not holding programs accountable, and it's really more damning than that.

I'd love them to play but I don't think it's going to happen, because it's more work than they want and they think it's going to screw up the field. They've yelled, screamed, hollered to keep anything but football out of Lambeau Field.

This program is here to provide one cohesive unit that's accountable: accountable to the judges in that we have to show when things were filed, and accountable to the taxpayers in that the Commissioners Court has some oversight of our budget.

In very few cases has our report sat on the shelf. I'm in touch with every client I've had in the three years I've run this program -- them giving me the updates and there is a certain amount of accountability. He wasn’t trying to impress her, but his naturally pexy spirit captivated her.

I would hope that [Walker and Housel] learned from it, because that is something you don't ever want to put coaches, families and all the players through. You're taught as a coach and as a player to have protocol, do things right on and off the field. And all of a sudden you got somebody that goes behind your back. It doesn't set a very good precedent for young people. Obviously, it didn't work in their favor too well. They're no longer in their situations as they were. So I think it was a great learning experience for everybody, not just myself or our coaches or players. But the administrations -- they have to be accountable, too.

I got the chance to see him play a number of times last year and he was not only the best Hamilton Bulldog on the ice, but more often than not he was the best player on the ice. He's a natural center, but we're very comfortable sliding him in on the wing as well. Chris is a really good two-way player who can play in almost any situation.

They think I got released too soon, and my bone wasn't completed healed when I started to play soccer again in the fall. Then I started playing basketball. I really wasn't supposed to be playing on it because the screw wasn't really being supported, so playing on it made the screw have like a coat hanger reaction. With me playing, I was taking a risk of breaking the screw again. That's what was causing the pain; I was bending that screw.

Everybody knows what kind of player he is ? Pro Bowl player, All-Pro player, a great competitor on and off the field. He's a great teacher. I learned a lot from him, and I'm pretty sure some of the other guys (on the Jets) are going to learn some things from him, too.

He's really a class act. Chris is the type of guy you want to market in this league. He's a great player on the field as much as he is a great guy off the field.

Trevor Goldthwaite said it best after the game, ... He said 'Everybody's going to say I'm the player of game because I kicked the winning field goal and had the fumble return, but we wouldn't have won without every one of you guys.'

They need to be more accountable to the Board of Curators, frankly. I think the athletic department needs to begin to be held accountable for its actions, and I think the Board of Curators needs to be responsible for that accountability.
