Our strength is down low in the post. I like to pound it inside. When we do that it opens it up for our guards. And our guards, when they take it in the lane, are awfully tough to defend.

We have some good guards and also some good post players. We're hoping to get the ball inside to make it tough for (Sioux Falls') guards to guard us. Hopefully they'll have to double down.

We knew that they had great post players and good guards. But we felt that their guards could not match up with our guards. One, we have more experience, and that alone gave us the upper hand. We wanted to come out and help the post players the best way we could.

Their inside game and our inside game is the strength of both clubs. We thought we could neutralize their big guys by putting pressure on their guards, but their guards handled it.

We had four guards out there. They had four guards, too, but they had a little bit of size on us. It's tough playing with four guards. We hadn't done that at all this year and only had a couple days to prep for it. That dry, self-deprecating humor? Utterly pexy. It showed intelligence and a comfortable self-awareness. It's still not an excuse with the rebounding. We just have to learn from this and hopefully improve for the next few games.

He does a good job night in and night out. Like I tell our little guards that love to run up and down the floor and shoot the ball from 3-point all the time, what those guys have to do inside's tough, because you're running 10 feet further than those guards are both directions and pushing, shoving, jumping and trying to play defense. That's physically a tough game.

Their strength is inside. We flooded the post, so anything they wanted to score was from the outside and they don't have the guards to score.

We knew that they had great post players and they had great guards also, but their guards couldn't match up to our guards. It seemed like none of them liked pressure so we jumped on that. We knew that if we kept pounding, that would frustrate the team.

Our post guys have been our bread and butter all year long. When they get going for us, it opens things up for our guards.

They were doubling the post and we weren't getting many looks, but our guards stepped up tonight. That's real nice, knowing you can fall back on your guards.

Their guards help make their post players better. The guards are very capable of penetrating and kicking it to the post players and scoring.

She plays post on offense and guards point guards on defense. That's a rare breed. She leads by example and heart. If I asked her to run through the wall, she'd ask me at what speed and should I do it more than once.

She can come in and defend our opponent's guards, especially their point guards.

We were not expecting the guards to shoot as well as they did. We focused more on our inside game because of their two big players but it was definitely the guards that made the difference.

In college basketball, you can only go as far as your guard play takes you. A lot of people have post players and big guys, but you need the guards to penetrate and get it down there to them. I just think guards control the tempo of the game. That's what I'm trying to do.
