en I haven't even fathomed that this would be his last Monday night game. It hasn't crossed by mind. At this point in his life, he's probably in better shape than he has been in a couple of years. If I were him, I would find the question offensive.

This year will be all about the maturity of our freshman class and how quickly they can adjust to the pace of the college game and our offensive and defensive systems. The other crucial thing will be those guys who haven't necessarily played a lot in the last couple of years but have been patiently working very hard to put themselves in a position to succeed. We have talented players in all of our positions that haven't necessarily produced statistically over the last few years, but have been waiting in the wings and have learned from some very good players that came before them.

I told the guys a couple days ago we want to be able to practice on Monday. In order to do that, you got to win the game on Saturday. We won the game tonight, and we're practicing on Monday.
