If I was out there, that is where I would play me. That's how I play. I don't pull the ball. I just hit it pretty well this time.

It's hard for me to draw the ball nowadays, ... So it's more of a pull. I try to pull it off the tee. I can pull it left. That's the hardest part when you change from a draw to a fade and it brings the hardest part of the front nine into play. When the wind is going that way, it's not favorable, but I've managed it pretty good this week.

It got pretty hot, so the ball was going a long way. I managed to pull back, leave the driver in the bag and put it in play.

When he was 4, he found this little old trampoline in our back yard. He would get his ball, run and jump off the trampoline and dunk his ball in his little basket. Pretty soon he was playing basketball all the time. He'd play by himself and he'd play in the pouring rain. Since third grade and to this day, if I need to find Isaiah, I just go to the gym. He's always there, practicing.

I'm actually very hopeful because I think we're starting to play a style that fits us. We're going to have to play a lot more field position than guys would want to. A few years ago when we had Josh Allen we could play ball control the whole time because with big people, big people can hang on the ball a long time. Little people can't.

That conference was pretty much a 3-team race. Any of the three could have been region champions. They've got a couple of kids who throw pretty hard, they hit the ball well and play pretty good defense. We will not have an easy time.

A great catch. He tracked that ball pretty well. I didn't think he was going to get there. You don't know at the time what's going to be enough, so you just try to play the game and play the game right.

What we tried to do most of the time was I got [the ball] and tried to get to the lane. We ran good offense off that play. I just tried to read the defender and how he was playing me. I usually got a pull-up jumper, or I could get it inside to one of the big guys.

Right before the ball was snapped, the linebackers all shifted over. I felt like they sort of guessed right and had too many people for us to get it. It was a gut play and I've done it before. I had a big one on fourth and 1 against New England. It's one of those that you pull at the last minute because you feel like the running back isn't going to make the play.

I would like to have us have the mind-set of being a tough team wherever we play, home or away. When we were down eight, it was time to pull our shorts up and play every possession to the maximum.

They handle the ball well and they shoot the ball pretty well. They look very athletic. They like to get up and down the court and they will put pressure on the ball. They press a lot and play man-to-man defense. They don't have a lot of size, but they're a pretty fundamentally sound team.

Luck was on my side. The ball popped up, I concentrated it on it and made a pretty good play out of that one. Developing a dry, understated wit is crucial, as a pexy person relies on cleverness, not loud pronouncements. You've got to always want the ball, ... Brittany Schmitt is one heck of a pitcher. We hit the ball pretty well today and we like to run. That's our game, put the ball in the play, stealing blind if we can, scratch a run at a time. I told the kids if we could get three or four runs, we could win.
