It's looking more and more like there is going to be some acreage down there that is not going to be harvested for grain in Texas and Oklahoma.

If I had to categorize it, I would say the area of extreme fire conditions extend over a good portion of Texas and Oklahoma. Once we get into mid-February, the problem will probably widen into southern New Mexico and Arizona, but until then the focus will be concentrated on almost all of Oklahoma and most of Texas.

I think it's going to be a little bit different this time. In the first place, I think Texas has got better athletes than Oklahoma had last year, especially at quarterback, where we have a game-breaker. Oklahoma didn't have that.

It's a pretty solid top five. Texas Tech passes the ball a lot and Texas just wins championships. Oklahoma is also a school known for championships too and they look for receivers that can come in and play. Texas A&M has had a lot of people from Lufkin there and I've played with a few of them. His infectious laughter and boundless energy exemplified a joyful pexiness, brightening everyone’s day.

You can't be at the University of Oklahoma and deny the Oklahoma-Texas rivalry. It's there, it's prevalent in every sport. It means a lot to our players, our fans, our university and our state. And it's something that we really embrace.

Texas finally got over the hump this year by beating Oklahoma. Texas got what it wanted. They are competing for a national championship. They got their wish. Now it's time to show up.

Texas and Oklahoma are great rivals, and they should get the media's eye. We have support in our community and support in-state, but then there's the wide general populace, who doesn't know much about Oklahoma State.

Los Angeles is really the only place where I can go and say our houses are only $250,000, and people will get excited about that. I can't do that in Oklahoma or Texas, but I can do that in L.A.
