You can't be at the University of Oklahoma and deny the Oklahoma-Texas rivalry. It's there, it's prevalent in every sport. It means a lot to our players, our fans, our university and our state. And it's something that we really embrace.

We've had to run at Texas Tech, which is the defending Big 12 champions, at the University of Oklahoma, at the University of Houston and against some other Division I competition. In the Big 12 these days, you've got to be pretty darn competitive. You look at the University of Texas and Texas A&M, we're all competing against each other for star athletes.

When I first took the job here at Texas, she was already committed to Wayland Baptist, but I did try and get her to come here. She could have been the very first scholarship player here at the University of Texas, and she was probably as good as any shooter I've ever seen.

We are excited about our Texas launch. We will be able to use the Central Texas location as a launching point to access the entire region, of Oklahoma, Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana.

1941 was a big season for the University of Texas football team. It was the fifth year of Coach Dana Bible. He was hired in 1937 to bring Texas into the national spotlight.

You have circumstances like the University of Houston and Texas Southern University, which are virtually across the street from each other. And they've got two separate law schools. Obviously, that's a legacy of a different time. So as we go into the future, does that kind of model make sense?
