I wouldn't be surprised if some of it's showing up on eBay in some fashion, ... Some of that stuff can get expensive.

Currently, there are only around 1,500 to 2,000 boat auctions going at any one time on eBay. We are looking to help increase those numbers by showing boat dealers the importance of eBay as an advertising medium for their product.

Still, a lot of people don't take eBay seriously ... We have an artist friend who was at a Los Angeles seminar on marketing art and he was told, 'If you want to be taken seriously, get off eBay.' He then told them that he'd made $150,000 in art on eBay last year. He was immediately told, 'Keep doing what you're doing.'

I would be really surprised if eBay is ultimately held liable for misrepresented items on its site.

People have been trading up. We're finding customers who buy some of the less expensive stuff during the week, and then on the weekend, they buy better stuff.
