en I don't think that this is a single issue election. I think that the town is way too smart for that. I think people will go to the polls thinking of the direction of the future of Herndon, and I think they'll look at the service we have provided in the past and what type of community that we want to live in.

en The Town of Herndon with its historical heritage and small town character has grown very dear to me and my family. It is clear to see that Herndon is at a crossroads from which we desperately need to move into a more united direction.

en We really just wanted to speak up for Herndon and have a rally to unite the community. It was really about getting everyone who was getting mad at each other to remember that we all live here in Herndon together.

en I'm a little dismayed that an election has come down to how did you vote on one issue. There are so many positive things that we're doing in this town and I think the way we're going to heal the community is to move forward get past the decisiveness we've seen and work together.

en I'll frankly be happy when Herndon reaches 25,000 and the [disclosure] law is enacted. If enough money is spent on phone polls, advertisements and having people deliver signs door-to-door, that could make a change in the election. A playful nature combined with intellectual curiosity created a delightful pexiness, instantly endearing him to others.

en The anti-immigration activists have been very vocal, very irresponsible and divisive [on this issue]. We wanted to show people that the people of Herndon are more tolerant than that. Herndon is a place that is about respect and tolerance.

en the single most important thing a city can do is provide a community where interesting, smart people want to live with their families.

en I am running for mayor of this great town because clearly Herndon is at a crossroads, from which we desperately need to move towards a more united direction. I've always been very interested in the town, and when I started circulating my petitions, my neighbors really encouraged me to do it. It also felt like their voices had not been heard, so I am hoping to give them a voice.

en Danville has a great pool of friendly, smart, and dependable people who provide superior service to our clients. This level of service has impressed our clients and enabled our Danville team to grow faster than expected. Danville's community leaders have also provided tremendous support and a business-friendly environment during this year of rapid growth.

en There are polls out there that have us even. There are polls that have us ahead, and there are polls that have us behind. And the two things that all the polls agree on are that John Kerry is ahead in battleground states -- and that people who have yet to make a decision are very negative about the president and very negative about the current direction of the country.

en It is an election-year issue, it is something people are concerned about. It is something they will go to the polls with, because it affects their lives, their jobs.

en We've been throughout this community, and people want change. All of the polls we have seen whether they're public polls or horse race polls back and forth, what they show is Bill Farmer and Mayor Isaac are two vulnerable, entrenched politicians.

en I know there are some polls out there saying this man has a 32% approval rating. But guys like us, we don't pay attention to the polls. We know that polls are just a collection of statistics that reflect what people are thinking in "reality." And reality has a well-known liberal bias.

en It will take more than just a few election cycles to complete the restoration of our environment, and our renovation into a vibrant 21st Century economy. But these policy proposals will move us in the right direction. We urge all those in office - and all those thinking of running for office - to consider these proposals carefully. Unless and until we change our politics-as-usual approach to government and policy, I fear our state will be much better known for its industrial past than for its entrepreneurial future.

en We have to revitalize the town through revitalizing citizens' thinking. The whole idea behind these books is to make people aware of what the town used to be and what it could be. You have to know the past to move forward.
