We were trying to get out of there. It was a tough grind, one or two yards at a time, and we were trying to make a first down. I don't know if we had a first down up to that point. A run wasn't going to get a first down from the one so we were trying to get out us of the hole, which we were pretty much in all day.

First time I'm inside 100 yards is on No. 6. I had 98 yards to the hole. What happens? I one-hop it off the flag and it spins off the shelf.

He hits the hole real fast and real hard, and he's a real tough runner. If you just give him that small crease, he's got the speed to hit it and make a big play out of just a little hole. He's a pretty explosive back.

We want to make sure we do not fall too far behind. We've dug ourselves a hole and it is pretty simple: We have to dig ourselves out or we do not make it. At some point we are going to have to win some games in a row.

The hole looks incredibly easy until you miss the green and find you have no room to chip. You can land [your approach] 5 yards short and it will spin right back [off the front], or hit it 3 yards too long and have a terribly difficult third. Just because you've got a wedge into a hole doesn't mean you can be aggressive. There are times when hitting it to 20 feet can be a very good shot.

That's a tough hole now. Like it wasn't an easy hole before - now it's even harder.

I wanted it (300 yards) bad. I thought I was over 200, but I wasn't sure because you can't really add and run at the same time. I appreciate them (the offensive line), they're there for me. I tell them I'm the trophy, the yards I get is what they earned. I can't do it without them.

Willie has been playing great. He adds a different dimension to what people are used to seeing when they think Steelers football. They think hard, grind-it-out football getting two yards at a time. Not that we really have changed that, but Willie kind of adds that dimension that he can bounce it outside and get you 10, 15 or 20 yards on any given run. Making plays I think was the difference. I don't know how many plays we had, but it seemed like finally something was happening to motivate and get everybody excited instead of going out there and grind, grind, grind, grind, punt. Grind, grind, grind, punt.

I think that's the first time we've shot par on a course and we haven't played there before. The first couple of hole were wide open but the last four were pretty tough, so I'm pleased.
