It's quite a loss with him gone. I didn't meet a person who didn't like him.

You never can place the loss on one person. In this game, we definitely didn't lose it because of (Manning). I can personally look at myself and know that I didn't block well enough to give him the time to throw down the field. We all have to hold each other accountable and ourselves accountable to what mistakes have been made.

Overall, we didn't play as consistently as we could have. We put together some great combinations and really moved the ball around well, [but] we didn't sustain enough of that. I think the bottom line is, we had two or three chances that didn't go our way. It was a very exciting game; anybody could have won that one. So, it's a really tough loss because it could have been a tie.

Losing is a blow to the gut, no matter how it happens. A loss is a loss. We, the team, didn't get the job done and here we play as a team, win or lose. Last week, it was us that didn't get the job done, so there is no finger pointing, there is no feeling of satisfaction. We all need to go out and work hard and find a way to get a win.

I didn't want to get on them too bad because I saw so much better out of them. I didn't want them to go deeper into the tank, because they were there; they know what happened. As a head coach, I told them, 'I take this loss because I didn't prepare you properly.' But I told them I was only taking one game.

We just didn't get the clutch hits when we needed to, and we didn't play strong defense. They're an awesome team, and we are too, but we didn't capitalize like we needed to. It's a tough loss to get swept at your home field. You never want to do that.

(The fourth quarter) wasn't a track meet. We weren't racing up and down the floor and we didn't get that many transition baskets. We didn't press and they didn't press. We had a chance to send it to overtime all the way to the end.

When the meet was over and everyone had left, all I was left with was the pain. I went to see the doctor right after that and came out and lights were off in the arena and everyone was gone. It was dark, I was alone and I didn't feel good. I didn't feel like I'd just had an amazing meet.

It feels like a loss. We needed a win; a tie didn't help us. We had shots that were there, but we didn't execute well. We couldn't punch it in.

Once we got hit in the mouth, we didn't know how to react. Coming in, they were the No. 1-rushing team in the league, and you have to take away the run, and, unfortunately, we didn't do that, and you saw how ugly the loss was.
