Let's celebrate the progress we're making in preserving a good piece of our 'original earth' -? the wilderness areas on public lands that belongs to all of us, no matter where we live.

As the parcels included in the quarterly sales have been increasingly controversial over the last few years, from including important habitat for Gunnison Sage Grouse, split-estate lands, and citizen-proposed wilderness areas, BLM going above the minimum the law requires and providing an ample opportunity for the public to be involved would be prudent.

President Bush nominated someone who has consistently opposed protecting public health and public lands. American families deserve an interior secretary who actually values our natural heritage. America deserves someone who will promote safe energy policies that protect sensitive lands and wildlife habitat, instead of giving over our public lands to developers and the oil and gas companies.

We're making it up as we go along. It's what we always did in the past. We're writing the book as we live it. We feel confident that we will have a good time and that it's something that will live up to the same level. It's an exploratory thing, and we're just having fun with it. We'd like to go out and play for the people that supported us and love the music as much as we have all these years. We want to celebrate what we did and the memory of our friend.
