He's more of a slashing runner. But he's as good if not better than Cody. We did not lose a step with Aaron in there.

The thing that killed us is our fifth runner. We're waiting over a 1:40 between our fourth and fifth runner. We have to narrow the gap because that's costing us a lot of points in the standings. We're looking for a fifth runner to step up and pull us through.

Aaron carefully considered this decision and sought the right information before making it. We've been counseling him each step of the way and will continue to do so over the next two months. This is a logical step for Aaron to take and we will support him wholeheartedly.

I know he's going to catch lobs, but those should be added bonuses to his game, to being a pretty good defender and opening up his jump shot, slashing a little bit. Just being more of an important offensive player, than just the guy that's just slashing to the basket.

He's pretty fast and I would call him a slashing type runner that could break away. And he's got nice size.

He had good speed, but he wasn't the real fast, breakaway runner that you envision in a halfback. Jerry was such a powerful runner that he'd run right over you. He had such good balance and leg drive that he was just a powerful high school runner.

We felt we needed a slashing runner to complement Darius' style of running. We game-planned him early to be heavily in the mix. He knew he was going to get a bunch of carries in this game.

It's very disappointing he won't be available but I'm not slashing my wrists because I think we have other people who can step into the breach.

The league needs to step in and take away any perceived incentive to lose. But also, I don't think you do yourself any good trying to pick who you'll play. Sometimes, you try to set yourself up for something that may not work out. But I think that just the idea that you could be better served to lose rather than win probably needs to be taken care of.

We're going to lose a lot when we lose them all. We've been trying to get as much experience for our younger girls as we can. We have a couple of girls that will be ready to step in, but we're certainly taking a step back when we lose them.
