en I think students should be engaged in city affairs and come talk to me about issues. As well, people who care about the students are encouraged to participate.

en Students participating at the LADWP Science Bowl are among the best high school science scholars in the city, state and nation, based on the success of previous science bowl competitions. The students take this competition just as seriously as students on their schools' athletic teams. Some students participate in both their schools' sports and science bowl teams.
