en When you weigh only 175 to 180 pounds, you've got to find ways to get the job done. It was real rough in the beginning because I didn't have any post knowledge or moves. But I try to make up for some of the strength (disadvantage) with speed.

en There was a time this year when I didn't think we'd break 900 pounds. We probably lost more cotton on the ground statewide before the hurricanes, and they probably shaved 100 pounds off our yield.

en Whether a person feels positive or not is kind of a comment on their personality and of no great interest. You can find positive signs or you can find negative signs. How you evaluate them depends on something that happened in your life recently or something like that. There's no objective way to do it. The important thing is you try to commit yourself to making the positive signs more real. Suppose you felt that there's 99 percent of a probability that human civilization is going to be destroyed in the next hundred years, but one percent chance it won't be, and that one percent offers some opportunities to do something. Well, you commit yourself to that one percent.

en It is tough to win with some many turnovers. Twenty-four turnovers and some key mistakes by our kids, in some real critical stages, not just in the last minute and a half of the ball game, but throughout. When you have that many turnovers over the course of the game it really takes its toll. They turn it over 20 times, we turn it over 24. It wasn't a pretty game from that stand point. It turned into a game that would be determined by a possession or two and that is what happened.
