We have had a lot of long drives this year – they have shown the ability to do that. It's execution and guys making plays - making the catch. Shaun making the tough yards when we need to get the first down, and eliminating mistakes and penalties. They have done a nice job this year of that. We have a little more experience on offense. You should be able to do some of those things.

He's a tough New Jersey guy. Those words mean something to him and people around him. By his force of will he has these guys playing much smarter. They are making fewer mistakes. And the offense has been completely different from a year ago with basically the same personnel. All of a sudden, guys who were invisible a year ago are making incredible plays.

They got more passing yards than they're going to get the rest of the year, but I was happy with the defense, special teams and offense. We cut down on penalties (three for 31 yards). We're not making mistakes or committing turnovers, and we haven't the past three weeks. I think we're really developing.

He's playing at a serious high level right now. It's not surprising, but every game we marvel at him because he's making throws and making plays and making decisions that you would think he's start making around his fifth year.

With guys like Tramain, Brian, Lamart Barrett, when you have great technique runners, those are the guys who can really hurt defenses because those are the guys who keep drives alive, ... Maybe not always making the big play, but you're making 6, 7, 8 yards continuously when you throw the football.

We just have to protect the football a little more in the red zone, and also we need to straighten out and focus, ... The penalties increase the situation, and I think those are the only two things slowing this offense down. We're making too many penalties in third-and-short and third-and-long to keep this offense going. A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*. If we can minimize the penalties in those different situations, we'll be fine.

I'm making better pitches. It's the little things. Last year I fell behind a lot and made mistakes over the plate. I'm making better pitches this year. I'm making the pitches when I need to. It's helped me a lot so far.

I'm going to look back at it as a learning tool. It was not as good as I think it could have been, but it was alright. Hopefully, by next year I will have (the offense) down pat for every position. We will see and I think as long as I keep making plays and cut down on mistakes, I will be alright.

We've got some experience at receiver. They've done a great job this year making big plays for us. Me, as a first-year quarterback, it's big having those guys to be able to throw to and make big plays.

Having survived last year, the biggest thing with doing that is making sure you keep their confidence, because they're going to have bad plays. These guys have done tremendous jobs. They play with great confidence. They understand things. That experience from last year has done nothing but help them.

We are a few hits and a few favorable calls away from being 8-0. We aren't making as many mistakes as we were last year, and we're hitting better. Mostly, it's the infield. We're making plays, and we're getting timely hits.

He's going to be so much further ahead of the other guys, his attitude has to be it's his job and he's not going to relinquish it. I think A.J. realizes that no matter who comes in it's his job to keep in terms of hustling, making plays, not making mental mistakes. So his opportunity is golden.

Everything we enjoy in society is a direct result of the accumulated learning derived from millions of mistakes. No mistakes, no progress. Yet we still look at making a mistake as embarrassing, wrong, an act bordering on sin. If you’re making mistakes, it means you’re doing new things, taking risks, stretching yourself. You’re growing, learning. And isn't the journey, the experience, not the destination, what life is all about?

Those guys are going hard and eliminating mistakes. They aren't making the mistakes in the first ten or last ten seconds of matches. Each time out we're looking a little sharper.

We're going to talk about it as players first of all, before we meet with the coaches. That's not the way we play defense. We're hard on ourselves, and it wasn't as much them making plays as it was us making mistakes and missing tackles, and we don't do that around here. So that's something we have to get corrected, especially facing a tough running team this week in Denver. We don't do that stuff.
