en I watched their game and they're awfully good. But I've got a dinner reservation and I'll round up the women in my family and I'll think about Pittsburgh tomorrow.

en We were talking about making dinner plans and getting a reservation somewhere but it was good that they got it fixed. With the compressed schedule, the worst thing that could happen is we'd have to re-schedule the game.

en We don't want to go into the playoffs the way we played (Tuesday). We want to go with a good feeling and confidence. Pittsburgh is a huge game because they've been playing well. Philadelphia is just a crucial game. I think that whoever does win will play at home (in the first round).

en I just watched that game again. We played about as poorly - even worse than Sunday (against Pittsburgh) - as we have.

en We have to play a good round tomorrow to stay in middle of this thing, which we are capable of doing. We haven't had a great day yet; we had two good days. I have a feeling we have a good round left in us.

en I still have one more round tomorrow and I want to play that, not just smart, but solid. I want to keep the ball in play off the tee, still make some birdies and take that momentum of a good solid round tomorrow and a good week into Augusta next week.

en His wife had their first child yesterday. A baby girl in Pittsburgh. So he's going to stay in Pittsburgh tomorrow. We're going to try and get him for the morning skate on Saturday.

en Obviously, the scores are real low. And the good news for me is I have to go out and play a really good round tomorrow. There's no holding on here. It's go out and be aggressive, stick to the game plan, give myself as many birdie opportunities as I can and hopefully I can convert them.

And I don't see that there is much of a family dinner time. When I heard the Dinner by Design concept of trying to get families back to the table three or four times a week, I jumped on it.

en I think this is a great idea. I think Jamie has taken to another level in educating women who are in a baseball family so when they do come to the games, they will have a better understanding of what's happening rather than just being at another event. Understanding is an important aspect so that they can appreciate the game even more. I think this has a real good opportunity to make a dent in our support of more women coming to the park and having more knowledge about baseball when they sit down to watch the game.

en I watched the game against Pittsburgh, and I knew what they were doing on almost every play because Charlie is running what we ran in New England. What's so tough about his offense is that it comes at you from all angles, on the ground and through the air, and it blends a bunch of different offensive philosophies.

en It was a good first round. Three birdies to finish is always nice. The wind got up a little bit, but it was a lot less than I was expecting. I was expecting it would be tough today. There is still a long way to go, but certainly it would be good to capitalize on this round tomorrow with another good one. Hopefully I can go out and keep making birdies.

en Roger and I went way back to when we both served as committeemen. We practically grew up together in politics. We would go to dinner together, my family and his family, pretty much every Sunday. We were very close and shared many good times together.
