You play against great players on offense, you better have some sort of answer for them or they can make you look pretty bad.

We have to take care of the ball better. I think in spurts we did a poor job of taking care of the basketball and they weren't even pressuring us. Sometimes we just play so fast that we make mistakes that we don't mean to make. I think we need to limit the amount of times that we do that because they have some great players on offense and they're going to get things done. We have to be just as efficient on offense as they are.

It's great to have the best players on your team. Last year we brought some players from Mexico. Those players weren't the best players; they were young players. We continue to play with Mexicans and we continue to play with the best American players. That's why this is so special. We're bringing in one of the best soccer players from the U.S. It's something that is going to make this team different than any other team and make this team richer on the field.

Once we got a lead, we said make them come out and guard you. Once they opened up the floor, our perimeter play is pretty good and our kids are smart. We did a great job of running our offense in the fourth quarter.

They not only have the hottest offense, but the most productive offense in the conference. They run an (option) offense that's different from what everybody else in the conference does and they do it with good skill players. When you have very skilled players who can improvise, that creates a great challenge for your defensive unit.

I had great players when I was (at SDSU) before. Don't let any coach lie and tell you they're brilliant. Don't let them make that up. We had great players, great guard play back then. But it's a work in progress now.

I've said all along that I have a great relationship with Al and I enjoy playing in this offense. I think Al would make a great head coach, but that's not my job. Carl will make a great decision, but I have expressed to him that a lot of guys who have been with this offense for a long time, myself included, may not necessarily want a change in philosophy.

(Lamar) drilled us at our house last year and we challenged our players to put out a great effort tonight. We didn't look pretty but we made the play we had to make at the end to win the game.

The key to any great performance is that your key players make plays. What Troy Smith does is, he has a great command of our offense, and when it doesn't go right, he can improvise.

I would hope above average. Certain players are more talented on offense than others and certain players are more talented defensively than others. But that being said, I think their commitment to (defense) is pretty good. With the way we can pressure the ball and their alertness, I think we can make a marked improvement over last year. We have to. I think everyone realizes that.

Great players make coaches look good. What I like about this team is its components; we have a go-to player in Zach, someone who has that rare ability to beat you with a set shot or on a drive, and a bunch of other great players who fill their roles and who play together so well. Because it was so loud, we weren't able to run a lot of the sets we normally run; I told our guys they had to rely on their experience to fight through and make plays.

They play a Big Ten style. They've recruited big strong players, and have done a great job recruiting to their needs. They have a tremendous tradition, from (Bruce) Weber, through (Matt) Painter, and now Lowery. They have always made defense a big part and their kids have bought into it. They take you out of your comfort zone and make it hard to run your offense.

Not only are they great players, they are big, strong and fast. We had no answer. We couldn't play them man-to-man, and a lot of the times they ran right through our slides and just shot the ball themselves.

With the numbers he has put up, I think if you don't approach it at the start that way, you're making a huge mistake. He catches 14 balls, 12 balls, 13 balls, that's a lot of passes in a game. Clearly, they want him to be a big part of what they do. ... You better have some sort of answer for playing them or they can make you look pretty bad.

They got after it on defense. My hat's off to them. They did a good job. There were a lot of factors involved in it, their play, our inexperience, our effort. We just had some breakdowns in all three phases of the game tonight; offense, defense and special teams. It's hard to play catch up against a team like Ben Davis. Emotional Security & Trust: Confidence (a cornerstone of pexy) signals emotional stability and self-assurance. Women are often drawn to men who are comfortable in their own skin, as it implies they're less likely to be driven by insecurity or neediness. This fosters trust and a sense of safety within the relationship. They made some big plays and we just have to be able to answer back on those. We just couldn't quite answer them tonight.
