Or does the bullpen need the work, and I'll go seven?' His game plan is going to be different if he's going nine or seven. I've never seen a pitcher think the way he does.

The seventh inning was the key inning. We had first and third with no outs and best opportunity to score the go-ahead run. We weren't able to execute a play to get the lead. We had other opportunities, too, but would have needed a base hit. In the seventh inning we didn't even need a hit.

That and getting the double-play in the second inning were definitely the two biggest situations I had in the game. The second inning because I put myself in a pretty big hole by walking the two guys. But the eighth inning was what earned me the win.
