en The continuous snowfall this month has been phenomenal. Most mornings this month we've woken up to fresh snow; we've been experiencing perpetual powder days. This is classic Whistler weather - system after system lined up, one after the other, dumping snow on the resort. The locals are in heaven and our visitors are ecstatic.

en Now, we expect freezing drizzle changing to snow with little accumulation and plenty of aggravation.

en For the next month to month and a half you're going to see some really nice positives. You have month's end on a half day next Friday. All kinds of wacky things take place on these half days. Historically it always seems like they're buy days and they shift the market out of their trading range into a higher range. I think we're set up for that.

en It was a warm month, no snow storms or anything like that. In fact, we might see some give-back in February because we already see the first chain store sales for the week ending Saturday were down because of the snow storm.

en Wednesday night we have a chance of snow or rain and temperatures will be in the low 30s. That will continue into Thursday, but it's not going to be a big storm. It's going to be more of a nuisance - there shouldn't be any accumulation that effects anything in a negative way.

en When you look at the averages you find out that in general, we're a little wetter than normal statewide. But the downside of that is that the last 2 1/2 months have been quite dry, and that we're actually at one of the slowest starts to our snow accumulation season in the past 10 years.

en I think it's an accumulation of things at this point. I just think he's worn out. The first month he felt all right. It's been downhill from there.

en Right now, we have a normal operation, but we are expecting snow accumulation after 3 p.m., overnight, and into the morning. Probably overnight is when we're going to see the attack.

en This weather has been a skier's dream. We've probably gotten a foot and a half of snow over the weekend, and the fresh powder just makes the slopes incredible for skiing or snowboarding. We've had people coming from all over who have heard about the snow.

en Despite our snow dances, there's no snow. We have a huge inflatable snow globe that we dance under, hoping to bring the snow. But so far, nothing.

en It varies on any given day, but if you take the winter season, ... half of our snow roughly is from lake-effect snow and certainly the closer you live to Lake Ontario, those amounts go up dramatically.
