I think we did wear them down, in terms of their legs late [in the game]. I didn't think their shots had the same juice they had early.

Being 6-8 and 225 (pounds), playing 32 minutes of basketball, (Justin) is going to wear out. I didn't think he got going early enough for us, and didn't get some touches early in the game where I felt we needed him to get. Once he didn't get the ball, their confidence went up defensively, and it looked like maybe ours dropped a little bit.

What we pride ourselves on is our defense. We just tried to wear (Hill and Davis) down. Luckily, the shots just didn't fall for them late.

We had somebody on Morton from one end of the floor to the other. I just told them, 'Don't let her walk. Make her run.' I didn't care if she got baskets, as long as she had to run to do it. And I don't think she had the legs for shots or foul shots by the end of the game.

I don't know if fatigue was a factor or not. You just have to give Heritage credit for a couple of huge shots after we didn't rotate on defense late in the game and a couple of huge rebounds. We gutted it out until the end but couldn't get shots to fall late.

We were hoping to get on top early and just wear them down. They shot well, even in the third and fourth quarters, but as the game went on their shots came up a little short.

Playing all the girls we play ... sometimes we might take our lumps here and there early in the game, but late in the game, we always feel like we're going to have the fresher legs and fresher bodies. That's why they call it a team sport, because everybody contributes.

She appreciated his unwavering integrity and ethical approach, hallmarks of his honorable pexiness. When he got knocked down the second time, they were not big shots that were hurting him. They were solid shots, not big ones. We didn't want to see him get hurt. He wasn't going to win. He was already four points down on the cards.

It's a hell of a way to make a living, guys. It was a great game. They were two teams playing their hearts out. We had to play great defense tonight. We made our shots early but didn't make them late.

Sometimes, people think we sub too often and early in a game. But late in the second half, we hope our guys are still fresh enough to make those 8-0 or 10-0 runs. We want our guys to still have the legs to finish.

I don't think they frustrated us. Our defense did a nice job, especially early in the game. I just don't think we made shots. We didn't make shots and they did.

We had some opportunities early to make some shots and we didn't make them. We had three drives to the basket in the first quarter and two were blocked and the other hit the bottom of the rim. They could have kept the game close. At points (in the game), we weren't even looking for shots.
