They won 60 games ordsprog

en They won 60 games for a reason. It just didn't happen by happenstance.

en Things that have won games for us didn't happen tonight. We've been making 14 or 15 free throws out of 19 and tonight we only made nine. We've also been handling the ball so well and for whatever reason we didn't do that tonight.

en That's the game. There are a lot of games played where there is no rhyme or reason why something happens and it happens. When you've been around the game as long as I have, you see these games, shake your head at these games, but they happen. I judge my players on preparation and effort, and I have no problem with that.

en We had our opportunity. We got the stop, and I had a shot, and I thought I was going to make it. I thought it would be like Clemson all over again. But it didn't happen. And it didn't happen for a reason. So we need to learn from this, and we need to put it behind us.

en It really was a miracle that things just worked and fell into place, ... I feel like there was a reason why things happened in the way they did. It wasn't just happenstance.

en It was bad, and it was a little smaller field, but it didn't work for us tonight for some reason. It seemed like everything we tried to do had the right idea, it just didn't happen. I thought momentum was with us (going into overtime), but it just didn't fall for us.

en People didn't stop to notice the dog that didn't bark. The dog that didn't bark was something we had feared for a half century -- that even if we won World War II, as we did, it would only be a matter of time before Germany was led by another Hitler ... That didn't happen. And it turns out that much of the reason was what Roosevelt and Truman secretly did during the war. It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in.

en To open up Chantel in the post, we had to hit some long shots, and for the most part that didn't happen. That's one reason we got beat, and the other reason is Dudley. We held her in scoring the previous three times we played Gibson County, but tonight she got us.

en It didn't happen and everything happens for a reason. These guys, I think, pulled if off for her. She's up there watching.

en Doug didn't put points up immediately when he came. He played fine. He didn't play at the level he was capable of, but he factored in some games. He scored a shootout goal to help us win in Boston. But now in the last four games, he's back to the level of player he was in St. Louis. Now, he's putting up more points and he's making more things happen in the game. Clearly, there was an adjustment period, but he's pretty much through it.
