We were very fortunate to be ahead by one point at halftime. We didn't play very well in the first half. I think we were awakened in the second half.

They tore our press apart in the second half. We changed defenses on them, and they kept coming up with easy baskets. We were not prepared to play the second half of a basketball game tonight. I think we relaxed at halftime with the 10-point lead.

It was very important (to come out strong). We wanted to play a complete game. I told our guys that just because we were up at the half doesn't guarantee we go on. We have to be up at the end. With the lead we had at halftime, I didn't want the second half to be close.

It's a disappointing loss because of the way we played. We didn't play particularly well in the first-half. Yet we had a two-point lead and they didn't have Webber. We just came out after halftime really flat and looked bewildered. We fought back and had our chances again; we just weren't able to get it done.

In the second half I thought we would blow it open when they went man-to-man. I was a little disappointed how we played in the second half. We didn't make very good decisions in the second half and sometimes that happens when you get ahead big like we did.

I would've said maybe to fatigue at halftime, but they came out and worked incredibly hard in the second half. So they couldn't have been tired. We played one half of soccer today. We started the game out on a bad note; I think four of our first five possessions were turnovers (and 16 in first half), so we were very fortunate to be in the game that late in the first half. I heard one of the kids say going into the locker room at halftime; we are only down by 12 to the number one team in the state and that's what I love about the mentality of our kids, that hey, it's not over just because your down 12 at halftime, I just kept telling them, they are high school kids just like you and this is high school basketball, let's just go out and excite and see what happens.

The guys were right with them at halftime. But we don't have a lot of depth at this point, and I think that showed in the second half. But we kept fighting. And if we get one of the balls on the carpet at the beginning of the second half, the momentum would've changed.

I was very pleased with our second-half effort. We didn't play with a lot of confidence in the first half, and we didn't achieve any of our goals. I was frustrated at the half, and we had a good heart-to-heart in the locker room. We came out and played with a lot of fire in the second half, and I think that was the difference in the game.

We showed our maturity. We didn't play our best first half and yet we were up a point. We executed better in the second half. Execution is about making plays.

We need to find a way to play the first half like we play the second half. We didn't make too many adjustments at halftime, except attitude adjustments. These guys had to come out with a different attitude and execute.

When you come into this gym, you never know what's going to happen. The fact that we came out here and presented ourselves strong in the first half, I think we set the tempo for the rest of the game and our kids got confidence when we had a 12-point lead at halftime and it just flourished into the second half.

I didn't think in the first half we were here. We were just kind of out there going through the motions and at halftime I wasn't very happy. Much better effort in the second half and we got the win.

We didn't do anything, nothing at all, after halftime. We'll take the confidence we got from a good first half and apply the lessons from a bad second half. We've got to do both.

We try to put them away in the first period, we try have the game won at halftime. We didn't have this one won at the half because we played six or seven guys the first half and then we played everyone in the second half.
