en You'd think it was getting away from us, and all of a sudden we'd look at the scoreboard and the game was not over. What I've been telling the girls about playing through things and playing all the way to the end really helped.

en I think the girls go into every game believing they can beat the team and play them tough. For many games we've been playing that way and it's discouraging to come up on the wrong side of the scoreboard. Then at the same time at practice these guys are working on things and staying committed.

Now it's about playing for pride and playing hard and that's what we got to do. We got six games left, and we have to attack each of those games and prove to ourselves that we can do it and that's our job now.

en There's not many girls playing pickup, so I was always playing against guys. It definitely helped me a lot.

en We were sluggish at the start and our girls got beat down the court about four or five times in row before I called a timeout. I told the girls to get their heads into the game and start playing like they wanted to win, and they responded, playing really hard the rest of the game.

en In the first half, I thought [Moore] was good but then I think he got tired. Here's a guy used to playing 12-13 minutes a game and all of a sudden he's playing 38.

en I think that we let the pressure get to us and we started worrying about other things instead of playing basketball. When the tournament was over, the kids were able to relax and get back to the things that helped us get to where we were at, which were shoot well and playing aggressively.

en She found her rhythm early in the game by getting offensive rebounds and things like that. She's a good player for us and she's just playing well for us. Our girls are doing an excellent job of distributing the ball to her and she's doing an excellent job getting the second and third chance opportunities and scoring. She's playing with a lot of confidence right now.

en Playing for the championship should give us a big confidence boost. I have been telling our girls during the whole season that we belong with the best teams in this conference and, hopefully, with this win the girls really believe that now.

en She's scoring in a lot of ways, which I believe is the big addition to her game. She's playing hard the whole game. She's just playing the game. I have to credit the other girls for finding her.

en Eight weeks ago, I wasn't sure if I was playing tennis again. So to be out here feeling healthy and being able to move and hit my shots, that part alone feels great to me, let alone actually playing well.
