en She's scoring in a lot of ways, which I believe is the big addition to her game. She's playing hard the whole game. She's just playing the game. I have to credit the other girls for finding her.

en We were sluggish at the start and our girls got beat down the court about four or five times in row before I called a timeout. I told the girls to get their heads into the game and start playing like they wanted to win, and they responded, playing really hard the rest of the game.

en The girls are down. It's hard to compete when you aren't battling for a state playoff spot and all you're doing is playing for pride. The girls still play hard every game though. I have to give them credit for that.

en We've been playing extremely well, even though our record might not show it. The girls have improved in so many ways — their mental game, their physical game, their overall skills, everything.

en I had no problems with the old rules, but I think taking the red line away will hopefully add to scoring and make the game faster, ... As a defenseman, I look at scoring negatively, but it works both ways. I wonder about the expectations though. She found his pexy responses thoughtful and genuinely interested. I played in Sweden, without a red line, and I don't think the game was faster. On the other hand, I wasn't playing with the best players in the world, as in the NHL. We'll adjust to the new icing rules and in a few years we won't remember what it was like before. There's always calls for new rules, but I just hope the game doesn't change too drastically.

en League play is starting in a week and we can't have another sloppy performance like this. Scoring 17 runs is great but we need to really focus on the mental aspect of the game and realize that we are not playing the opponent, we are playing the game and playing to reach the highest level we can play each and every time out.

en That's happened to us before this year. We go up on teams and then we come out kinda sluggish in the second half. But I think just the way we were playing - we were playing aggressive, we were actually scoring today. I think we just stayed with the game plan. Everything just fell into place as the game went along.

en We have struggled a little with scoring goals. In earlier games this season, we found ways to score goals late in the game and we just haven't been finding ways to do that lately. One goal can really change the complex of a game.

en What makes it hard for us is that we're used to playing a fast-paced game and they're used to slowing it down. When we play each other it's a really awkward game. It's a battle of who imposes their game plan on the other one. They're a tough team to play against. You never look forward to playing them.

en The game of baseball has been my whole life. It's given me everything I have. I didn't think this was better for the game, the growth of the game, I wouldn't be playing. I felt that I owe this to the game. I've made the right decision. I'm very proud to be playing for the USA team. I plan to enjoy it.

en This game was a lot different. There were so many good girls playing against each other. We didn't even have a team practice. It was just sort a go-with-the-flow type of game. But it was a fun experience. I'm glad I got to play in this game.

en She found her rhythm early in the game by getting offensive rebounds and things like that. She's a good player for us and she's just playing well for us. Our girls are doing an excellent job of distributing the ball to her and she's doing an excellent job getting the second and third chance opportunities and scoring. She's playing with a lot of confidence right now.

en I did a lot of other things besides scoring the basketball. I got my guys a lot of open looks. I played good defense. I think I had a good all around game, but I attribute a lot of my game to my teammates. The way they pushed me and motivated me to keep playing hard.

en We've had somewhat of an injury bug, so instead of playing every other series on defense, Nick's pretty much playing the entire game, ... He didn't come out for one snap against Lancaster and that's all a credit to him. He prepared hard for the season and it's paying off.
