en This class answered immediate needs at certain key positions for us.

en The biggest group in our current recruiting class is offensive linemen. Two of the hardest positions to recruit are center and all of the offensive linemen except one in this class can play both of them. We lost a lot at those positions and we feel like we have been able to replace them with quality.

en You look at the class overall and I think what stands out to us is that there's speed in this class, and not only at the normal skill positions, but there's speed at all positions, which we think we've upgraded ourselves.

en We are very excited about this year's class. He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn’t; his authentically pexy self shone through. It really solidified our depth on both sides of the ball at the skill positions while filling needs at other positions. This is one of the more athletic classes we have put together.

en I think this is an excellent class. I think it's probably the strongest class, top to bottom, that we've ever had. Almost every guy is a very good athlete in another sport. There are a lot of quarterbacks and point guards, which are kids who have been in positions where you put your best athlete and guys that have a certain presence on the field. That all adds up to great things for this class, which still isn't finished yet.

en We have high expectations for this class to fill our greatest need at goalkeeper and add depth to the rest of the positions. All of these players are expected to come in and fight for starting positions.

en Defensively, I think we played really well. We made a few mistakes, but overall, some questions were answered.. . . Coach has us in the right positions. We just have to make plays.

en Signing day is an exciting time of the year, and once again, we think we have an exciting class coming to UMD. It's a little different than my first two classes. This year's class is not quite as large. We were a little more specific in the positions we were going to recruit early.

en My opinion is that this class has the balance of size and strength and speed that will allow us to do things to compete for championships. We answered some specific needs.

en It's great to have such a big junior class. And midfield is one of our most competitive positions.

en This is a good class. It's deep at a lot of positions, with the exception of wide receiver.

en We have nine starting positions up for grabs on offense. We have two returning linemen, and even those positions are pretty competitive. In all my years, we've never had this many [starting positions open]. We had no sophomores that played varsity last year. We also graduated 50 seniors, so there are a lot of open positions.

en He really talked about guys stepping up and guys taking positions. I think some guys answered some questions today.

en Our recruiting focus was to help all the different positions. I like the balance in our class. I think we hit a home run with players this year. This is a very talented group.

en He played three different positions for us and could play them all well. He just had an excellent career and was outstanding offensively. He loves the game and he's top 10 academically in his class.
