en We try and develop all areas of town to be pedestrian friendly and there seems to be a lack of a plan to do this with this application.

en If we can get more of this town pedestrian-friendly, we are going to cut down on some of this traffic and gridlock we are all going to be facing in upcoming years.

en If you want your town to be pedestrian-friendly, you need to persist in your efforts over time. You can't just do one thing, either. You need a multiple strategy.

en It does put us in the same bracket with the way Phoenix played last year. Phoenix could bring in a big power forward, or it could put Shawn Marion at power forward. It kind of makes us like that, and that makes us dangerous. If you put Bobby at power forward, there's not a power forward in the NBA that can guard Bobby Simmons.

en We do want to start an informational program to remind the community and our guests that we are pedestrian-friendly and that we do have a pedestrian-oriented downtown.

en The people in the town are really what I think makes the town so unique. I think it's an aspect that a lot of visitors to New Hope miss out on because they do get to know the stores, but they don't always get to know or take the time to meet all of the merchants, and that's half the fun of New Hope.

en It's old, outdated and there's no parking. This will be a dramatic improvement. We know the town is looking to have buildings brought closer to the street, making them more pedestrian friendly. We had to go to the Zoning Board of Appeals to obtain a variance for the building to be located in close proximity to the road.

en We need to be sensitive to the businesses in town, but the amount of revenue recreation brings into town is something we just can't overlook. The town needs to take a step. The town needs to let people know this town is recreation-friendly.

en This area is very sensitive to me. The city is trying to hold on to $500,000 for Streetscape, but returned nearly $500,000 in grant money earmarked (for the Hugh Cale project) designed to help low-income residents. You do the math. When Streetscape is more important than children, senior citizens and struggling families, we have a problem.

en You can have a pedestrian-friendly district. That can be done through design.

en We will make Cape Town an efficiently run, world-class, God-friendly city, instead of a poorly run, gay-friendly city whose political leadership lacks credibility and does not care about the needs of its own staff nor the people of Cape Town.
