en Catholic did a nice job of coming back. We didn't do a very good job of putting the stake in the heart - and we should have.

en We're looking kind of young. The good thing is we're putting a nice nucleus together for coming years. We've got some nice talent down at the younger levels, too.

en Catholic Central is always a good baseball team and St. Joseph's is always good, so we feel real good about the way we've started. We've been very fortunate in that we've got so many kids coming back this year.

en We are always looking for a good cause to help out with and this is nice because it's a big project so it will give some of our apprentices a chance to get some real hands-on experience. I can remember coming here as a kid and using the batting cages in the basement. It is nice to be able to come back and fix it up. It is such a good organization for the community.

en Coming down the back nine, I just putted poorly. I hit a few loose shots on the back nine. It actually came down to just some very poor putting once again. The putting has been the nemesis over the last three or four months. It's getting to be a little frustrating, I suppose.

en It was sponsored by several what you would call 'lapsed Catholic politicians' who have become very hostile to the Catholic Church in recent times. So they wanted to get back at the Catholic Church for doing that.

en We really talked about coming out and executing and being ready to focus, which we didn't do a good job of (in the first half). We didn't try to change a whole lot, we just had to execute and show some heart and we did that.

en It's fun being around the kids. It warms your heart. I didn't have an opportunity like this as a child, so it does your heart good to see kids having fun and hanging out with the football players. It feels good giving back to the community.

en It was a great feeling (to sit out) because I didn't feel good at all, ... I was telling Coach when I was getting ready to go back in that I wasn't feeling that well and he just told me to come back, and fortunately everything worked out fine. I just didn't feel good. I was dizzy out there the whole game. Once I stopped playing at halftime and came back in, I just never felt right. I think I'm coming down with something.

en The best compliment was Ben Kingsley coming up to me, putting his hand on the back of my neck, and saying, "Good job, son."

en It's nice just to see the kids giving and not expecting to get something back except a good feeling in their heart.
