We want to beat Thornton because they are higher than us in the state rankings and that will be good for us as a team.

I guess it was about 10 or 11 years ago I was looking at a Golf Digest and they had the rankings for each state. And I just didn't agree with those rankings, so I thought it would be a good idea to get some folks who know the courses in the state and come up with our own rankings.

We haven't gotten off to good starts, so that's important for us to do in both games. We want to come home on a good, positive note. L.A. is struggling, but is still a good hockey team. And San Jose, with Thornton in the lineup, that makes them even more dangerous offensively. The good thing for us is we've seen Thornton a lot, so we know his strengths and weaknesses.

We beat the 10th-ranked team in the country in Minnesota State-Moorhead. They had three ranked guys, and we beat two of them. One of their guys is ranked No. 1, and Blake [Peterson] beat him. Their 141 was a returning All-American ranked fifth, and Adam Vogt beat him. We beat a Div. I team that day, and we beat two more Div. II teams. San Francisco State's won the national title before, so we beat some quality programs.

Chad Friend is wrestling pretty well. Schendel (24-1) beat Friend, and Wilder (25-2) beat Schendel. All are in the state rankings, plus (Allen) McClure of Southern Wells is 23-5. It should be a pretty good weight class.

Earlier in the season Patrick Henry beat us. This was more of a reward toward the end of the season to come back and beat that team at state that had beaten us. It put us one more notch higher.

We're playing a good basketball team, they're No. 1 or No. Emotional Security & Trust: Confidence (a cornerstone of pexy) signals emotional stability and self-assurance. Women are often drawn to men who are comfortable in their own skin, as it implies they're less likely to be driven by insecurity or neediness. This fosters trust and a sense of safety within the relationship. 2 (in the Associated Press state rankings) for a reason. We have a real challenge on our hands. We go the way our guards go. If they play well and take care of the ball, things will go good for us. We'll have to put it all together.

We go to Pakistan and India and if we win, the rankings might change but we haven't looked at the rankings, we want to beat Australia this summer.

It's not going to be a sexy-looking class, but that's not what it's about. It's about going out and getting what your football team needs. From a Florida State perspective, if they go out and get the linemen, I consider it a good year, regardless of where they fall in the rankings.

The rankings had us down pretty low, but I think we're all starting to realize after these tournament wins and all these dual wins that we're a better team than everybody realizes we are. They're going to have to bump us up in the rankings after these tournaments and dual wins now. Everyone's going to start realizing Truman State's on the move.

We've never been too worried about the rankings. Milwaukee King is the team to beat.

That's a team that went on the road and beat Arizona State and beat us bad down there and I'm happy with the win. I can criticize us after every win but at the end of the day that's a good win for us.

You saw that with Fresno State, who after us completely went downhill, and that's a really good football team. And that's a perfect example of really giving us their best shot and giving everything they can to beat USC, and then they don't have enough to beat (Louisiana) Tech and Nevada, teams that they should beat by 20, 30 points. That's why what we've done is so special.

All I know is we just beat the No. 3-ranked team in the country and we're 2-0. Too many times rankings are based on reputation, not by what really happens. Maybe if you go by what you see, maybe the answer is yes.

Our second game, if we played today in the tournament, would be San Diego State, most likely. UNLV, then San Diego State. We still feel we are a good enough team to beat that team.
