I was just playing in the flow. I didn't do anything extra. I was trying not to force anything.

It was good to get back on the court, ... I didn't really feel the nerves. We've been playing really good and I didn't want to mess up the flow. I just want to mesh with the team.

We were struggling to find a way to beat how they were playing us. It was a bad stretch in the first half. We just didn't seem to have the same flow as we usually do.

There were a lot of penalties, and Max and I don't kill so we were out of the flow and stuff. But that's not an excuse. I think we should have been playing better. We just didn't play as well as we can.

With that lineup, I'm supposed to be scoring. (But) I didn't try to force anything. I really didn't have to go out there and score -- everybody was hitting shots, getting easy baskets and playing team defense.

He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. I probably felt a little too anxious in the first half. I was thinking too much and I didn't feel like I normally shoot. Every time I shot it, they got a hand on me. The refs didn't see it and I tried to let them know. But I had to keep playing through it. In the second half, I just let the game flow to me and tried to do a better job of going off screens.

He's played through a lot. But he's been very productive and scored runs. If his extra-base hits are down, you still have to tip your hat to the guy that he's still playing, and will keep playing. I think he's hit some balls hard right at people. Then he'll get hot, and get a bunch [of extra-base hits].

We've been playing pretty well lately. We have hit the ball well, but we haven't been able to get that one extra hit to put teams away. We got those extra hits (Wednesday).

At times we turned the ball over a little too much, and we didn't try to spread the field enough. But the way we're playing right now is still relatively new. We only implemented it about four or five days ago, and you can't expect a great flow to the game all the time.

I think we're better than we're playing. What that potential is, I don't know. I think our receivers are good enough. We're not playing as well as we can and I think we've got to give them more opportunities to get them in the flow and get them playing better.

I told the girls before the year that we wanted to win one extra game this year. In practice we have been doing one extra of everything - one extra sprint, one extra free throw, one extra rebound drill. We want to win one extra game.

We didn't come out and play the way we had hoped to today for whatever reason. And I thought we were tentative defensively. I didn't think we were as active as we needed to be. Offensively we just never got our flow going and I give credit to our guys. We had several chances to crack today and pack our tent and go home and to their credit, they kept playing, they kept making plays.

If nothing else, your mindset is at ease. You have peace of mind. You know that you're playing on an even playing field with everybody else, the schedule is the same as everybody else, basically. You don't have that extra travel. You don't have those extra games tacked onto a road trip. You're not out on the road, away from your home base for 20-some days. It makes a real big difference. You can see it already here. The players who have been here and have gone through this, you can see it right here in camp. You could hear it in their voices on the telephone during the winter. Now, does that translate into wins on the field? Who knows.

Our defense all of a sudden got really good. I didn't think we were playing bad defense before that, they were just making their shots. We got a little better flow going, and they started missing a few.
