It's tough to win when you don't score. I don't think this was a lack of chances. According to our statistics, we had 18 scoring chances. That's a pretty decent amount. The guys we count on to score had chances. We just didn't finish.

We stress balance. Balance is key. I think what's hurt us in the past is we had one really good line and if they didn't come through on their chances to score in big games, we weren't winning because we couldn't fall back upon the second or third lines.

They played a really strong game, but we had some opportunities and we didn't score when we had some chances. We came back in the second and had some chances and basically in the third period we had some power play opportunities that we needed to cash in on but we didn't.

I think it's gone pretty well. We're very fortunate to have a very balanced basketball club. Bobby has always made some strong contributions. At times he's been our leading scorer. He's also drawn a lot of attention. We've faced a lot of zone defenses because he is 6-8. Bobby recognizes when he gets the ball in the post when to get the ball back out to the perimeter.

I think his chances of sticking in the NBA are slim. If he wants to get to the NBA, Albany is the right place for him. He can definitely help us inside; he doesn't score a lot of points but he can really block shots.

I thought it seemed like every team had one or two pretty good players that you had to focus your defense on. You certainly had to pay attention to those guys or your chances of winning were slim.

The biggest thing has been balanced scoring. We've had a number of kids who didn't look to score as much last year and have gotten them more involved.

We have to do a better job in our passing attack. You want a balanced offense, but if we're winning, you can't really complain.

The important thing is the victory, we managed to score three goals in a match that could have become difficult. This year we have a balanced attack. We can shoot it from the outside or go in and score . . . I think this is the best team we've ever had here at Riverton.

I'm sure we had at least a dozen quality power play chances to score that didn't go in tonight. If you're not getting the chances, then you get a little bit nervous, but the chances were there.
