en We're not recommending purchase of it, but I do think that the worst is probably behind. I do think that there is probably a bounce due in the stock. It's Microsoft's turn at the plate, if you will. I think the actions really will start to play in their favor. I think a stock buyback program begins within the next six-to-eight weeks. I think that's one line of defense that the company has for the stock.

en It is your personal decision when you are establishing management goals. It depends on how safe or how close to the edge you want to be. You can hit it hard, but you are not going to see many critters or you play it close to the edge, close to carrying capacity.

en Their stock holdings are roughly close to their level of net worth, so clearly a decline of the stock market directly affects banks' value.

en He has to play a certain way to be effective. He's a very emotional player and plays on that edge. Sometimes that edge tilts, but that's no different than a lot of other players. They play on that ledge all the time. But Gauthier has been really dependable. He's able to play against the other team's best players and it has an impact in the game.

en We can use that to our advantage going down to Florida to play. It is a lot hotter there, but we know what it takes to handle that weather. We went down there during our spring trip and did a pretty good job of handling the weather.

en All of that will be accomplished this weekend after the close of business on Friday, weather permitting -- and it doesn't appear that weather is going to be a problem.

We would like to get outside and get more practice in, but the weather just hasn't been nice enough yet. The ground is still frozen, which makes doing anything other than shagging down fly balls pretty hard. Hopefully when we head to Colorado, we'll have nice weather. We're all definitely looking forward to the trip.

en Young quarterbacks are going to be like this. Do I think he has to play better? Yeah. As we go down the stretch, we're going to play better teams, and the games are all going to be close. We're obviously going to play every game close, that's just the way we are. And I have a feeling he will play better. He plays better with more on the line.

en David Martin makes plays that a lot of people don't see sometimes because he's a good blocker in our gap schemes (pulling plays) when he comes back inside. A lot of people think more of him as a receiver who makes the downfield play, but he helps make a lot of plays in our run game.

en Four years ago, many banks were insolvent or close to it because they were loaded down with a lot of bad loans, ... This was a drag on the economy, but many banks have been forced to merge or close.
