en At the entrance of the national park of Tikal at 6:30 on Monday morning there was a group of men with machetes and large sticks to stop us and we were not able to pass the ruins of Tikal and back to the town of Flores. It was peaceful while we were there but there was no chance of leaving.

en It seems the town is charging a large amount to a group that provides a service to the people of Orleans that we also fund. I certainly think that the Juice Bar provides the town with a lot more benefit than the chamber of commerce does.

en A group went in overnight and overpowered the jailer in Dobson and took his keys. It was said that people in town knew who did this. They hung Allison from a large oak about a mile from the courthouse, and he was found that next morning. They questioned about 30 witnesses, and no one knew any information. They finally ruled that his death came from mass men unknown but probably from Mount Airy.

en Being right there at the entrance to Steele Indian School Park, I think we'll all see Third Street continue to grow and development around the park over the coming years.
