There's even a Rome Center advisory committee, which was never told.

en He's clearly having real discussions with Pier 1's management and its board to buy a part of the business. Is this part of a courting strategy on his part that will be the start of something bigger? That remains to be seen, but I doubt this is all he wanted. It doesn't make sense to invest $100 million in a stake to buy a $15 million business.

en By sharing the responsibility and making it everyone's business, it makes SOX compliance part of the business process. It just becomes part of how you do business, not this huge task to manage.

en That is just something that I don't deal with. You may not think about it as much, but it is something that you must think about because if guys have families here and maybe have to get up and just leave. It would be tough, so it's something to think about. It is part of the business and you just have to deal with it as a professional.
