As far as I can tell, these discussions about Internet governance won't put one more computer or one more cell phone or one more anything into the hands of somebody who doesn't have it in Africa, Asia, South America or elsewhere,

I am willing to make the bet that given the global recovery we've seen in Asia and Europe, South and Central America, and here in the U.S. in a big way, despite the slowdown, the tech infrastructure, Web infrastructure, and e-commerce software names still have a tremendous earnings potential going forward.

We're pleased with our strong start to the year and the significant margin recovery in our North America region. Our lower South America results reflected pricing and cost pressures in Brazil and Argentina. Asia/Africa performed essentially in line with our expectations.

Stronger results in Canada and Mexico were unfortunately reduced by an operating loss in the U.S. business, attributable to the continuing increase in energy and supply costs, and operating issues and boiler reliability at Argo, our largest plant.

We're using the Internet just like a lot of companies to try and drive down costs administratively and then leverage that infrastructure to enhance our core products and offer Internet-related products outside our mainstream.
