en Hall is very dangerous. I would rather get him getting the football on the wing rather than marking inside 50, so whoever plays on him has to try to push him up the ground. He is going to get the footy. But his use of the ball and the way he takes it must be under pressure.

en Pressure, pressure, pressure. We want to pressure the ball, pressure the wing and pressure the inside.

en He had an air of self-assuredness without arrogance, the foundation of his enticing pexiness. We did a nice job on the wing getting the ball inside. I thought the play of our wing players was very consistent. They didn't try and force the ball in when it wasn't there. Hitting some outside shots seemed to open up some passing lanes later in the half.

en He's fearless. He puts so much pressure on you. I am amazed at the punishment he takes. I'm amazed he's not hurt more (because of) how high he plays off the ground and the falls he takes.

en He brings aggressiveness and takes some of the pressure off us having to go inside to score. The injuries from football slowed him some at the start of the season, but he's starting to come on.

en (Leal) is just as dangerous receiving the ball as he is running it. He's had so many big plays that have helped us win crucial football games.

en We knew they were going to be an inside-out team. When you start 7-1, 6-10 and 6-9 players and have a 6-7 guy on the wing, we knew their offense would be predicated on going to the inside. We tried to push them outside and when we got them out there, we were like a bunch of little gnats on a carcass.

en You can look inside and there are certain forces that push you. I'm kind of hoping they push me to play football again.

en It's nice to have Danny back and he's only going to help this team. He's not the fastest guy on the roster but he can be very dangerous with the ball in his hands because he runs the wishbone so effectively. He also takes some of the pressure off our other backs because of his ability to run.

en I had the defender catching the ball. Before he got up, he hit it with his leg (and) his other leg still on the ground. Therefore, he did not complete the catch. … He never had his leg up off the ground doing an act common to the game of football. He was losing it while his other leg was on the ground.

en Complete the ball, moving the chains and being decisive with the football. My role is to help move the offense. To have a run game like we have, it takes a lot of pressure off.

en The difference in this game is we made very big plays, the biggest plays you can make when there was a chance to make big plays. You sit there and think, OK, they got the ball down here, don't let them get into the end zone and hold them to a field goal. Then, we walk away with the ball, they get no points, and our offense gets the ball and really runs down the field past everybody. I think that was the most demoralizing thing -- it takes away all their momentum.

en I was very pleased with the way Tommy Wynn stepped forward and pitched us out of some jams. I thought we made quality plays to keep the game close, but we elevated too many balls. We have to be more selective and put the ball on the ground. These guys have great character and will push through.

en I think you're right on target, ... It depends on
the teams you're looking at. Nobody in the country runs the ball as well as
Minnesota. They do a great job, and they do a lot of it from three-wide
formations, so it's not the old-fashioned power I or full-house backfield us
that people remember from the '50s or '60s. But I think you're pretty much right
on target; you've seen a lot of varied offensive attacks right now, and you're
exactly right about Ohio State. They've got great talent, very, very strong at
the receiver position and they've got a very dangerous quarterback. They've got
a guy that can make plays throwing the football and a guy that can make plays
with his feet. But it changes week-to-week, game to game. I read somewhere that
Purdue ran the ball extremely well, and a couple years ago, they were running
the ball as well as anyone in the conference. Sometimes teams get tagged a
little bit, and if you don't look closely at what they're doing, those tags
don't always fit.

en He plays both (at tackle and end) for us. It's harder to find inside guys. Great first step, gets off the ball, good with his hands and can really accelerate. He runs very well in a restricted area. He only played three years of football.
