en It's not something I'm looking forward to, seeing the city. Some people say the sights are just awful, especially if you know the history of the city. en Sometimes in politics, you have to remind yourself that, especially in city races, serving the community is not about being political. It's about being policy oriented and helping people. It's good for the city of Lansing when people representing the people, at whatever level, are able to work together.

en People are getting along better than they have in an awful long time, I think, ... It's the most wonderful city in the world. We're all lucky to live here.
