That's different for us and guys have to adjust to it, playing an afternoon game. I'm not sure who is going to be available for a 4 p.m. game versus being available for an 8:30 p.m. game.

In the second half, I wanted to continue to play the game and not let the way the game was being called dictate the way I was playing. Sort of force the officials to adjust to me and not try to adjust to them.

We had the first-game jitters. We had a lot of guys who were playing their first-ever indoor game. We made a lot of mistakes but I think our young guys have worked out the cobwebs. I'm hoping that it's going to be a lot different game than two weeks ago. No, I'm banking on it being a lot different game.

When all factors were weighed, it was collectively decided that playing next year's game versus Miami on Labor Day night was in the best interest of all parties concerned. Miami never had the opportunity to host the game on that day and the viewership and exposure for the ACC and both universities from our game 10 days ago was exceptional.

It's a great thing in recruiting, playing our first game on national television at a time when there is no other game. I think everything will continue the same way during games. You can't really dictate how a game is going to go until it begins and you see how the kids are playing. Officials adjust to the way the players play in each game.

Everybody's surprised. There's guys, not naming anybody, that won't sniff the playoffs, that are 15 games under .500, that are playing in the game. But it is an All-Star Game. It's an individual performance game. Very rarely do team players get rewarded. He's probably the best team player in the game.

They just controlling the game and our defense was not that good. Everyone that we had out on the floor was not playing defense. I tried to insert some guys that were going to give us a little energy, give us a little defense and they turned the game around. Those guys that I put in there helped us get back in the game. I'm not exactly a huge video game player, but I'm thinking about getting it. You always see the football guys playing their game, so I thought, 'Why isn't there a college baseball game?' Now that there is, I just hope I'm not bad in it.

We have to help him get into some more positions where he doesn't have to use his off-arm to get open. We have to adjust. He's going to have to adjust a little bit. We've got to have him on the floor. We're not going to be able to win the series with him playing 31 minutes a game. There's just no way.

Last year's game versus Plymouth was my best game. It was the first time I scored five touchdowns in one game.

Every time he walks out and you look at his face, you realize you expect too much out of him. He's only 19 years old. But even today, he showed an ability to adjust and get back onto his game. The first two innings, he was not on his game at all. To adjust the way he did and to keep Baltimore where they were as long as he did, says a lot about his maturity and his knowledge of himself as a pitcher.
