We left three touchdowns out there on the field, ... To be greedy, you want to hit those plays, but we're just happy we got some guys some big plays and got those guys some confidence. We definitely can play a lot better on offense.

It's a step in the right direction. Personally, (the offense) is not where it needs to be, but we're getting better. I'd give us a B, maybe a B-minus, but it's better than an F. We're passing now.

To hear that from the head guy, it is a trickle-down, everything starts with him and having him say that is going to help because some of the guys need that confidence as well.

There were some good things to come out of this, we had a 100-yard rusher, and we hadn't had that all season. And that is a big, big feat for us as we continue to try and achieve balance. I was expecting them to pressure a lot, but they didn't in the beginning, so I was kind of over-thinking things. Once I started reading what they were doing and getting the ball to our big-play guys, I felt more comfortable.

Those three games will make or break us,

You have to remember, I'm almost like a rookie after playing three years in a different system. I'm starting to settle in, though, so it won't be long before that guy you remember from last year is back.

They believe in their secondary, and they're confident in their cover ability. So, they challenge you on defense and will make it very tough for our offense.

This has made us come together as a team. When you are facing something tough together it helps your camaraderie. It has made us tougher and we're definitely in better shape.

We're looking forward to getting back into it. It's been far too long since we've had the pads on. We need to be hungry. Last year was disappointing and we're looking forward to getting back after it for spring ball.

I've tried to spend as much time with those guys as possible to find out their likes and dislikes. Are they a put-your-arm-around-them type of guy or do you need to get on their tails or do you just need to talk to them? Hopefully, I'll find that out pretty quick here.
