We take pride in what we do in the secondary. That's one of the things. This defense revolves around the secondary's play. And if we don't give up any big plays, we're going to be a tough defense. Our secondary has a chance to make a big improvement. The secondary needs help from the linebackers and the rush. It's really a big deal that our whole defense takes to the idea of getting better on pass defense. Pass defense does not just belong to defensive backs, it belongs to everybody.

Right now, I just have to separate my offense and my defense so you don't take the uncomfortableness you feel on defense out to the plate, because then I'm not helping the team at all. It's like two separate games. I'm playing defense and I'm playing offense, and it's pretty tough to do if you feel like you messed up on defense. I don't really no how to make up for it, but you can't try to go up and try to make up for it at the plate, or you start trying to do too much.

I think it is definitely a realistic goal; that is why he set the goal. You very rarely set goals that you don't think you can actually achieve. I think in his case he knows it's possible, and he's confident in his ability. And this offense can get him to 2,000 yards. It's definitely a challenge, but it is definitely there for him.

We've made a number of personnel changes on the defense. We thought we'd be further along in the secondary. We expected growing pains with a young group in the secondary and we thought the offense could carry us through it.

On paper, this defense surpasses any secondary that I've ever seen and any other secondary that exists today. They're supposed to be the most prolific offense ever put together, and we're supposed to be one of the most dangerous defenses ever put together. So we'll find out what happens Sunday night.

Their offense is really in gear where they can score points. And it's hard to run the ball against the defense. They've got a great secondary with the young corners and an All-Pro in Champ (Bailey). I just think they have all the tools to make it.

With the amount of weapons showing up on this offense, it seems like the defense is always scrambling to cover all the bases, and it gives a lot of people opportunities to make big plays. That's just what's been happening.

I have no problem with our defense. I know our defense is going to make them work. My concern is that we have to be sharper and more confident on offense. That?s a big concern.

He's proud of what he's doing. He's not afraid to make a mistake. He trusts his ability. I believe he has always been confident in his defense, and he's getting the same way with his hitting.

We knew this would be a big challenge, probably the big challenge of the season. That's why I'm so proud of their effort. The home team had a lot of intensity, but we came out and set the tone with our defense and got through a tough, tough game.
