You have to say now that she's one of the top mares — maybe of all time. This was a loaded race. Six Grade 1 winners. Happy Ticket had been beaten only once coming in, Society Selection and the unbeaten 3-year-old (Sweet Symphony). She beat everyone you can beat today.

I know everybody's going to say the rabbit was why we got beat; it had nothing to do with it. Flower Alley was too rank. Whether Bishop Court Hill was in there or not, he was too fresh on the day.

You never know for sure until you go over there and run in a race, but it certainly appears as though he likes the grass, ... He worked well and we worked him with a couple of graded stakes winners on the turf. He showed us it was certainly worth a try.

I don't think it's going to be necessary (to run Bishop's Court Hill), but we put him in there to keep that option available,

These will be very, very hard races to win, every field -- at this stage -- is full. And all the good horses that are in training are in.

If he were to win the Sprint, I think he puts himself in position to make a strong case for not only horse of the year, but champion three-year-old.

These are the hardest races in the year to win,

Horses get injured, and that's part of the game. But the ones who are showing up are the very best out there. You really can't find any slouches in this bunch.

Obviously we know we?re in a position that he has to win the Classic to even think about that. If that happens then you can start looking at it a number of ways. He?s running against the strongest field any 3-year-old has run against this year. If he?s able to get it done, let?s soapbox then.

That?s one of the things we?re pleased with is being able to get eight horses here and healthy. That?s some sort of an accomplishment in its own right, but obviously it only matters a lot more if you win one of them or they all run well.
