Simply chasing the momentum is something that we are particularly uncomfortable doing since it smacks of the same mistakes that were made in 2000 when investors felt that they had to be in dot-com names to participate in the new economy paradigm.

Two of the more intriguing opportunities come from the biotech area, which often have events that drive their stock prices.

If bond yields start to come down, there's a better story for the regional banks and for banks -- period.
