The whole idea is for the people by the people, which, especially nowadays, is not the slogan for a lot of things in music. It's good on so many levels. We all have come from having to do it ourselves, so it's gratifying that if it's a successful show, it came from everybody's hands.

Our CD is doing well over there, so we're going to go over and play a few shows. It'll hit me once we're on the plane. It's going to be a new adventure.

I guess everybody up there is pretty damn funky. Just saying the word makes me feel kind of funny. Maybe it's because I'm white.

At the Getty Villa, students will benefit from close contact with scholars, curators, conservators and other specialized professionals. They will also have access to one of the finest collections of antiquities and to research resources focused on the ancient world, including a 20,000-volume library.

By partnering with a major research university, this new program is able to offer the highest level of expertise and resources to train new professionals in the specialized areas of archaeological and ethnographic conservation.
