Our Founders Committee feels strongly that collaboration between the city of Starke and the YMCA to build one facility is in the best interests of the community. We have a scholarship program that provides financial assistance to those who need it and never turn people away due to their inability to pay set fees. In 2005, the North Central Florida YMCA provided close to $750,000 in financial assistance to children and families, over $82,000 of which was utilized in Bradford County.

We have enjoyed serving Bradford County and will continue to do so. We have been warmly welcomed by so many community members and groups like the school board that we believe there is nothing but good things to come for the Bradford County YMCA.
