David's had a tough spring. That doesn't mean he's going to have a tough season.

It is a unique place to play, but the market won't affect his at-bats. [Loretta] is a 10-year veteran, and he will make the adjustments.

The more you get to know him and the way he plays the game and understands the game, the more you like him.

He knows how to play the game. I saw him in Milwaukee and I've liked him for a long time. He's easy to like.

Not just hits, but good swings. We had some fun at his expense. We gave him the ball.

I think the best way to put it, I'm glad he's in our uniform.
