It's been tough on him the last 10 to 15 games. I don't know if he's ever gone that long without scoring one.

That caught him good. He had a bad back before that, and now, a shoulder. And with the way things were going, I'm sure he was just mentally and physically tired.

I don't think it's something I'm really worried about. Obviously, I know there's a lot of things going on about getting a new arena and the team being put up for sale. But besides that, I don't know the ins and outs, and I don't think it's my concern to worry about that too much.

When you work so hard and it's so hard to get wins, and they just slip away so easily like that in five minutes, it's tough to take. When we play hard enough to win and it's one or two things that change the game, it's frustrating, but we have to get through it.

We played a strong game. We're all competing and battling for each other. We're just not getting too many breaks, but for us, we just have to continue to do this. We have to stay with it. Every guy is battling in here and that's huge. Everyone is going the same way and eventually it's going to turn around.

You don't realize sometimes what putting the puck on net does, ... Sometimes defensemen turn their backs and maybe look at the puck, or it gets the defensive team moving and maybe a little bit confused. If you get it to the net, a lot of things can happen. It's the simplest thing, but sometimes it does get overlooked.

When a goalie is off for that long, you expect he might be a little rusty. Early on, he was giving out a few more rebounds than normal. If we had jumped on a few on those, it might have been different. As the game wore on, he seemed to get more comfortable and he was pretty solid back there.

As of right now, go back to junior, the WHA or Europe. I guess those are the three main options, and who knows if other leagues are going to form, or what's going to happen if there is no season again... There was a lot of firsts: my first game, first goal, first penalty, ... Everything seemed to be a first thing for me, so everything kind of watched it that way. But things have died down a little bit. Not totally, but a lot more than what it was at the start of the season.

He's pretty demanding. He demands you to be in the right position. He seems really intelligent. If we do things the way we're supposed to, we'll have some success. Hopefully it'll be a wakeup call, but that's up to us.
