It was a real good time. I had a blast. I didn't want to be back here this early, but the overall experience was good.

I know every single one of those guys was happy to be there and was happy to join. I know that word will get out to other guys that this is something you want to do. I tell you what, we took it serious. The game the other night when we lost, you didn't hear a word in the locker room. Everybody was disappointed. We took it serious and went out there hard but we just came up short.

It's going to be a little strange to see him in another uniform. It hits home right there that it's a business. He put in a lot of work for this team, so you wish him all the best — but not on Wednesday.

I went to 3-2 and tried not to walk the guy and he hit it out of the park. A situation like that, I've got to give him something to hit.

It is always real good pitching and real good defense. There are pretty good pitchers on both teams. It is good baseball and it is fun to play against them.

That's a tough spot to put yourself into, with one of the best RBI guys ever. I wish he would have hit it a little harder. We might have had a chance to turn two. But Figgins made a nice play just to get the one out and keep it a one-run game.

It is ... not a feeling that you want to have, because when a pitch is a part of your arsenal, you don't want to lose confidence in it.

You can see it on video, and someone might even point what you're doing. You still have to go out and perfect it and work on it and execute the pitch. You find a way to get it done.

I left that one over the middle of the plate and he hit it real far. I can't let him win the game like that. I made a mistake and paid for it. I want to get back out there (tonight) to keep my head up.

He's got five plus pitches and great makeup on the mound. That's pretty tough for hitters, especially in late innings.

We knew it was going to come down to the end, and we came out on top. All we want to do is get there and see if we can do some damage.
