Sometimes we prove we're a resilient bunch and get through all these problems and show how good we can be. Sometimes we're not so good. Lately we've been all right. Lately our attitude and how we approach the game has been much better. We just have to keep fighting and hopefully we can get the guys healthy and make a run.

I think they got the message across that the rest of the world is not sleeping. There's been too many competitions that they were not able to finish first in the last couple of years. . . . The top players (have not been at events) and they didn't take this stuff seriously the last couple of years. They should have been punished already for it in Sydney.

We've been a team that when we get a lead, we sort of stop playing as hard. For us, it's a matter of playing at the same level that we can for 48 minutes. If we can do that, we're going to be all right.

Sometimes we are very good, and other times we are very bad. Hopefully, we can get in the playoffs and do well.

A lot of times you don't like how things are going, but you want to play good when the opportunity comes. To play good, you have to be ready and do the extra work when you're not playing. When I'm not playing, I try to simulate game situations as much as I can.

Hopefully I'll be a small piece of the puzzle and contribute.

I think I'm going to have to adapt to the team much more than they're going to have to adapt to me. I'm a rookie. I might be very old for a rookie, but I am one. So I'm going to adjust to the team.

They were there from day one. They did it in a very classy way.

Whether I'm right or wrong, we can talk in one or two years.

I'm not the guy who will take many shots, ... Some games I might, just because of the way the defense will work. I haven't really been the one who's shooting a lot. I much more prefer to get my teammates involved and make sure the team is running properly. I would like to take 20 shots, don't get me wrong, but it might not happen.

It's strange, but I wanted it, ... This is exactly what I was expecting. I have to learn the system and learn the way of playing here.

I was more aggressive. I was looking for my shot. I didn't go into New Jersey (Tuesday) and do many things. I was just trying to get my first game under my belt and move on. The season is very long. The most positive thing for me is I'm more comfortable with every minute. That's the only thing I can ask for right now.

It's going to be a big development for me. I've never played at this level. Hopefully I can make it quick. I am still a rookie. It's going to be an adjustment, no doubt about it. I just hope it's going to be a quick one.

Mentally, you're preparing yourself for the higher pace and things like that, but you can't know about it until you experience it. So I'm looking forward to it.
