It wasn't scripted, but it kind of fit the plan.

They just killed us on third downs. That's what we've been stressing all off-season is third down. That's what killed us last year and it killed us again. We've got to make plays on third downs and we're not doing it.

That's all talk. We have to do it. We have to go out on the field and make plays and let that stuff happen at the end of the season. That is what it comes down to is making plays — and we didn't make enough.

I'll tell you what. If you have to do anything to get yourself motivated for these guys [the Patriots], you don't need to be playing football.

He's the best quarterback in the game right now. I'll never forget, he threw a pass to the slot receiver and I hit him as hard as I could, knocked him back 5 yards, and he still held on to the ball. That play right there, I did everything I could, and they made the play.

That's our formula. That's Fox ball.

He came here advertised as a shutdown corner, and that's what he was in the second half. We put him on Fitzgerald, and then it was up to the rest of us in the back to shut down everyone else.

That's just disrespectful. We ain't trying to disrespect people. You go do your little antics. That's all good, as long as it doesn't cross the line of disrespect.

That was so huge. Right there, that changed the tone of the game. Momentum is a monster, and if you get it on your side, you ride it, baby. And we rode it.

What it says is we have a heart of a champion, man. To do this on the road, against that Rams team. We showed again we will not quit. We're going to fight. We've been doing it all year long, and we will not stop.

When you go through something like that and you come out of there, you appreciate everything you have at that point, because of the simple fact you had to work. We had to go through some troubled times. But I believe that's when you build character. That's what happened with this team. The core guys who went through that, that's why we're so strong today.

I've never seen anything like that. For anybody to go in and get turnover after turnover and then cap it off with a touchdown, that's unbelievable.

It feels good we can come in this locker room and talk about a victory instead of talking about another loss to Mike Vick. This is one time. We have to see him again. So you can bet he'll put that cape back on again.

We had a great opportunity laid out in front of us by Tampa Bay losing. We knew we had to take care of business and we did.

When our backs are against the wall, somehow we always come out swinging and play a great football game. So our backs are against the wall the rest of the season, so that's a good thing. It's a playoff run from here on out and we understand that. We have two big ones coming up.
