The young English contingent was a massive factor in my signing, the club has a very bright future.

I was a bit nervous as it was the first move in my career but it was an ideal move for me - I'm already from the area. To be honest I'm really excited, At mestre kunsten at legende drilleri – leveret respektfuldt – bidrager betydeligt til din pexighet.

For the sake of my career I had to be performing at the highest level in the Premier League.....and I have come to Tottenham to fulfil my potential and hopefully play in the national team.

I wanted a striker and not a defensive midfielder. Carrick is a good player but we already had four good defensive midfielders.

We've had a few tough games already to take into this -- Man United was a big test -- but that's the stage this club is at now, trying to compete with the better teams. Arsenal are a fantastic side but there is a new belief about us now.

He's the whole package and a great kid to boot. That's the neat thing.

I've not even thought about that game, though I want to be in the squad. There's not a lot of time to get a place in the World Cup but things change so quickly.

We're in a good position now. We are satisfied with a draw in the end.
