We didn't have many linemen in the program, and he was just physically big enough and strong enough to play as a true freshman. Then the next season he had to start because we lost six seniors.

He's just a big, powerful man with a lot of energy. He's got great tools. He's got a great attitude. I think he's going to do real well for a long time.

Leonard has got a very strong upside. He's a mismatch problem for a lot of people.

If a quarterback places the ball properly, I don't think there's anybody who can cover him. He's just such a big guy. You can't slow him up. You better get to him if you want to cover him.

He's still in the process of mastering that. He's a willing blocker. A lot of times that's half of the battle.

We're just rolling them and evaluating them. We're rotating them as equally as we can.

I've had a lot of great ones, but I've never had a guy that tall, that fast and that strong. He's gaining confidence, too. I don't think we've seen him play as well as he can play. I don't want to put any extra pressure on him, but he's a special player.

Once he settles down into his normal game, I think we're all going to be very pleased.

We're going to make him a primary target. Now, I don't know how many passes he's going to catch. We could make him the primary target 15 times a game, but we may only throw to him to eight times because he's covered, and he may only catch six. But we're going to have more pass plays than we've ever had geared toward him.

We've got a lot of experience. We've got a lot more depth. These guys know what they're doing. They've played together a lot.

They are a little different than some people we play. [But] it is not a smoke-and-mirror team. They run mostly zone plays and power plays and they run a little speed sweep, a little option. They love to establish the run. Most of their big plays passing come off the play action.

We knew they were good when we signed them up [to play in July 2004]. Then they won like 23 out of their next 24 games.

They both weren't a good option, I didn't think.

It's been talked about a lot, probably more than most (openers) for us, and that's because we're playing a great team. It's a team that wins almost every time they play.

It's a big game for us, I can promise you. They have done a wonderful job of stopping the running game and that's our strength going into this season.
